#ChewOfTheWeek – Duke’s Bakery, Dartmouth
Bring Your Sweet Tooth
If you’re into sweets, boy do we have the spot for you! Duke’s Bakery on Route 6 in Dartmouth is a one stop shop for all your cookie, donut and cake cravings. Duke’s is filled to the brim with ginger snap, chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin cookies just to name a few. Dietary restrictions? No worries here – Duke’s Bakery has GotChew! What makes Duke’s special is their impressive selection of paleo, keto, dairy-free and vegan options! A guilt-free trip to sweetness paradise! The owners had these options in mind from day one, inspired by their nephew who was diagnosed with autism, they saw the benefits a gluten-free/dairy-free diet had for him and wanted to share that with their customers.
Like a Box of Chocolates
…You never know what you’re gonna get! Duke’s goes far beyond cookies. Pictured above is just two of their cakes. While there was far too much for me to try, I did have an oatmeal raisin cookie and it was one of the best I’ve had (and that’s my favorite cookie)! If the rest of their sweets are anything like their cookies, then you’re in for a treat! Duke’s has a wide selection of cupcakes, brownies, doughnuts and breads. Something for everyone!
No Sweets? No Problem!
As if Duke’s Bakery wasn’t already diversified enough, they also have an entire selection of non-sweets. From breakfast sandwiches and mac & cheese, to salads and chicken parm, Duke’s is your place for a hot meal too! Pictured above was a delicious veggie breakfast bowl. Packed with home fries, egg, avocado, red peppers, zucchini and green peppers, its a deliciously healthy start to any day. I paired this breakfast with Duke’s home brewed Energizing Lime Green Tea for a real power play!
