Oh boy where do we start? Our next #ChewOfTheWeek brings us to Mary’s Steamed Cheeseburgers in Downtown New Bedford. At Mary’s you can pick from one of the wildest menus we’ve ever seen, or build something completely your own! Shown above is the latter. Here we have sauteed peppers & onions, goat cheese, mac & cheese bites, a fried egg, peanut butter, french fries and maple mayo all tucked in between two deep fried grilled cheese sandwiches!

Yup. You heard that right, this monstrosity could be the #ChewOfTheYear right here! Even Mary said that was one of the biggest sandwiches she’s created and let me tell you, it was as delicious as it was daunting!

Where’s The Beef?

Now it wouldn’t be a trip to Mary’s without a hamburger somewhere! Which brings us to our next meal shown below: a delicious cheeseburger with onion crunch, maple & garlic mayo, peanut butter, grilled onion, mac & cheese bites, and pickles!

Whether you’re a die hard carnivore, a strict vegan, or anywhere in between, Mary’s Steamed Cheeseburgers has you covered! Over the past few months Mary has worked to create an extensive menu of indulgent vegetarian and vegan options in addition to her almost infinite number of beef and chicken based possibilities.

Mary’s diverse menu allows the same creative freedoms to be applied to avocado toasts, loaded fries & tater tots and an evolving array of soups and specials. Mary’s Steamed Cheeseburgers is located on Union Street Downtown and fun fact: it is a BYOB restaurant! But if you can’t make it there, there is no issue there because we #GotChew!
